Changing the PGPool log and PostgreSQL log location

Changing log location in PGPOOL-II (3.4.3)

 

Change the "logdir" parameter in pgpool.conf file to the new location and provide adequate privileges (ownership and permission).

In case log_destination is syslog then logs will be present in /var/log/messages.

Changing log location for PostgreSQL

Change the "log_directory" parameter in postgresql.conf file inside data directory to new mount point location and provide adequate privileges (ownership and permission).

This change requires restart of database.

Please check whether logging_collector is set to on.
