Re: Active - Passive Replication setup With RepMgr

Hi  Din2pg,

Unfortunately, we only support community PostgreSQL and EnterpriseDB tools.

Though repmgr is an open source tool. We don't support it.

If you require a failover management tool. In our opinion, EFM is best. Which covers almost all failover scenarios.

Kindly refer below for the documentation link for EFM :

Enterprise Failover Manager

Hope this answers your question.

Warm Regards,

In case you want to try EFM, here are a couple videos to help get you started (or at least see how it works before trying it):

Re: Active - Passive Replication setup With RepMgr

Hi @Ranjan  @bbissett ,

Sorry for the late response..we dont want Enterprise version..we have already EFM,some clients want to ask community..

so i want to setup community version 9.6+repmrg+pool or bouncer

Why we ask like this client compared to efm  ask features like this

1.client connection trasfer to new master

2.auto failover

3.'0' Data loss..

FYI

Please suggest only community 9.6+repmgr+pool or bouncer.. Send any document step by step's..we are in 0.

Thanks &Regards

Re: Active - Passive Replication setup With RepMgr

Hi Din2pg,

Unfortunately, we do not have any expertise for repmgr in this forum.

Thus, we cannot comment on the combination "9.6+repmgr+pool or bouncer" setup you are asking.

Hope this helps.
