remove db server from bart

Curious if anyone has steps to remove a system from bart.  I have some old systems that were used to test bart and would like to uninstall it now.

regards

If you don't want to keep the archived WAL files and if you don't want PITR backup of Postgres, then yes disable the archive_command. Or if you are using pg_receivexlog for archiving the WAL files then stop the process.

Re: remove db server from bart

You can just remove the server name contents from the bart.cfg file and delete the server named directory from the backup location. For example, if your bart.cfg has following content:[BART]

bart_host= enterprisedb@127.0.0.1
backup_path = /opt/backup
pg_basebackup_path = /opt/PostgresPlus/9.5AS/bin/pg_basebackup
logfile = /tmp/bart.log
scanner_logfile = /tmp/bart_scanner.log

[PG]
host = 127.0.0.1
port = 5432
user = postgres
cluster_owner = postgresOwner
description = "Postgres server"

[PPAS95]
host = 127.0.0.1
port = 5444
user = enterprisedb
cluster_owner = enterprisedbOwner
description = "PPAS 95 server"

And if you want to remove PPAS95 server, then you can remove the configuration block of [PPAS95], and you can remove the directory PPAS95 under backup_path directory (which is, as per above content, is /opt/backup)

on the db server itself,  are there any housekeeping steps that need to be done,  should archiving be disabled,  etc.
