Using EDB Postgres to Perform pg_dump of Community PostgreSQL Database

A user is attempting to perform a pg_dump of a PostgreSQL 9.3 database on a remote server using the EDB Postgres Advanced Server 9.5 version of pg_dump installed on his local server, but is encountering the following errors:

Pg_dump: [archiever (db)] query failed: ERROR: unrecognized configuration parameter "qreplace_function""
Pg_dump: [archiever (db)] query was: SHOW qreplace_function

Is it possible to use the EDB Postgres pg_dump command to perform a dump of a Community PostgreSQL database?

Re: Using EDB Postgres to Perform pg_dump of Community PostgreSQL Database

This is an expected behavior. pg_dump of Advanced Server is not compatible with PostgreSQL.

Please ask the user to use pg_dump binary of PostgreSQL.
