PEM MIB

Hello,

We dont see the OIDs in the PEM MIB file. Just wondering why is it so? When we gave the MIB to HP-OV team, even they had this query and they asked for some associated document. Has anybody tried the PEM MIB with HP-OV or any other tool, say, Zabbix?

Thanks

Re: PEM MIB

Hi,

I would like to understand more on if the MIB file generated by PEM is not getting interpreted by the tool you are using because the MIB file does contain the Object Identifiers and the severity of the trap as well though there is no separate document for it.

The only thing you need to keep in mind is, if any new alerts are created in PEM after generating the MIB file will not have any mention in the MIB file. In those cases, the MIB file needs to be generated again and incorporated to the tool you are using to receive the traps.
