MTK and bandwidth

I'm currently using MTK to migrate tables from Oracle to EDB in our lab environment (prior to a full migration in production). One was performed yesterday, and took about 4.5 hours (normal for the size of our db) over a 1 GB connection, maxing out at 75 MBps.

Is there any way to specify how much bandwitdh to use, or to max out bandwidth, within the MTK configuration?

Thank youmRemoteNG_2018-06-22_09-56-42.png

Re: MTK and bandwidth

Hi lgwapnitsky,

There is no specific option to mention/limit the bandwidth.

However, if you want to speed up the operation you can use following options:

1. CopyViaDBLinkOra

2.  fastCopy

1. Using of -copyViaDBLinkOra option requires dblink to be created first.
2. fastCopy will bypass the WAL login. Hence, if any corruption occurs recovery will not be possible.
Kindly refer below for the documentation link :
Hope this helps.
