I tried to take the backup of remote server to local machine. Remote server contains PostgreSQL community version 9.6.2 and ip address is 192.168.211.148. Local machine I installed EDB Advanced Server 126.96.36.199 version and Ip address is 192.168.211.149.
In Edb server only I can take the remote server backup and restore to local server.
I tried this command
./psql -h 192.168.211.148 -p 5432 <database name> | psql <databasebase name>
I will get following error message:
pg_dump: [archiver (db)] query failed: ERROR: unrecognized configuration parameter "qreplace_function"
pg_dump: [archiver (db)] query was: SHOW qreplace_function
Please resolve the issue?

Re: Backup issue
You cannot use EPAS pg_dump binaries to dump the data from Community PostgreSQL.
For this, you have to use Community PostgreSQL pg_dump binary to dump the data and use EPAS psql binary to upload the data in the EPAS server.
Below is the sample example for the same :
/usr/pgsql-9.6/bin/pg_dump -p 5442 -U postgres -d postgres | /opt/edb/as9.6/bin/psql -p 5444 -U enterprisedb -d hello
Hope this helps!
